Clay,

When you've been in the business 62 years, you'll catch up. Let me know.

HI Darryl -

I stand corrected !!!!!!

I was not aware that TFT was looking that far ahead....I'm glad that you
were.

My comments were based on my rather long history in this business (55 years)
and with that a long list of manufacturers that are no longer in business
that have left me hanging more than once.

Thanks for jumping in an applying the correction to my remarks.

Clay

Clay,

Unlike some of your more favored competitors, TFT had the foresight to
include "NIC" in the list of Events that could be forwarded and add
"000000-All U.S" as a recognized FIPS code. We consulted with the FCC before
including the "000000-All U.S" FIPS code and were advised that we could add
a FIPS code that would be user-selectable for autoforwarding. The TFT also
had the feature to forward manually any valid protocol received message.
These were both included in the very first version of TFT equipment that was
provided to the FCC for Certification and ultimately to first-run customers
in 1995.

No changes, either hardware or software, are required for July 2016
compliance with any TFT EAS system.

Do you still have a cassette player?
