Dear Mr. Freinwald,
I'm so glad to see your reply concerning the TFT boxes. Our 911 based-system has been working steadily for quite a while here, with only a few simple hiccups. The NPT pre-test came through from CAPCON and our local LP1 and LP2 with no problem. The audio was down a bit in relation to the tones and data, which we're looking into, but it was clear, and, most importantly, there.
So, I'm very curious as to what you recognize as discrepancies between the rules and the capabilities of the TFT. I'm about to leave the station for retirement (in Washington!), so I want to minimize the number of landmines I leave for the new engineering victim.
Thanks,
Joe Tysl
