I see your point, Robert.

The point I would like to make is that there are times in major emergency events having life safety implications when the media is not able to get to the EM community for information, there is major utility and Internet impairment, or there is a critical time factor.

I look at EAS as our "last ditch" means to get information out to a public at risk.
