*Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Webinar* *Topic: Emergency Alert System (EAS) Security Best Practices Wednesday, May 20, 2015 @ 12 PM ET*
The IPAWS PMO is hosting its' monthly installation of the Alerting Best Practices webinar series tomorrow, on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 12PM Eastern Time. We are extending this invitation to our IPAWS users and broadcaster's community to discuss EAS security management and its components. In addition, we will provide guidelines on system monitoring, security training, password composition, and firewall software solutions. We will be featuring staff from the IPAWS engineering branch who will discuss preventive measures to safeguard information systems for proper delivery of public alerts.
