[EAS] LP-1's Vs. LPFM's

I am the new chair of the Nebraska SECC and our LP-1 stations are less
than optimal in geography, etc.
Without going into detail, I will say that we have not implemented the
conventional daisy chain method of passing alerts using our LP-1's.
This may change in the future and something came to mind regarding LPFM's.
We have seen a proliferation of LPFM's across the state and I was
wondering if anyone had experienced an LPFM (new or existing)
interfering with any EAS monitoring assignments.
While the LPFM is not supposed to interfere with local stations I can
see where they could easily interfere with long distance LP-1
monitoring assignments.
If they did, would this be grounds for having the LPFM change
frequencies? I am not sure I have seen this addressed anywhere.
Thanks!
Rod
