Dave - if you are referring to expired signing certificate for the sender,
this is no secret, strictly speaking.  Certs have expiration dates whether 6
months, 4 years or 10 years.   

CAP origination systems would have to flag that expiration date to the user
and/or administrator.   By way of comparison, the DASDEC CAP/EAS originator
(DASEOC M100 and M600) provides a display of the cert expiration date, and
there's an interface to import an updated cert.  We were aware of cert
expiration, and included a "tracker" for the DASEOC user.

-> For those states/counties utilizing the DASEOC, no additional action is
required (aside from renewing and uploading the cert when it is flagged well
I advance in the DASEOC interface, of course).
