It reminds me of an old story. NASA spent 10s of millions of dollars to try to develop a ballpoint pen that worked in zero gravity. The Russians issued Cosmonauts pencils. Keep it simple. A direct satellite feed to each station. We can do it for close to zero cost. KISS is usually the best approach.
