[EAS] Three EAS sessions at this year's NAB Spring Convention in Las Vegas

Greetings from the Broadcast Warning Working Group (BWWG), the host of the EAS Forum.

I am happy to announce here on the EAS Forum there are two other significant EAS events that will be held during this year's NAB Convention besides the NAB's EAS session on Wednesday morning, April 9 in the LVCC's Room S227 from 9 AM to 10 AM.

1. The BWWG have made arrangements with the NAB for a special session that will propose answers to challenges for effective EAS messaging involving the National Weather Service:

2. The NAB has assigned Rooms N234/236 on Sunday, April 6 in the La Vegas Convention Center for this year's EAS get-together. Clay Freinwald from the Washington State SECC, Adrienne Abbott from the Nevada SECC, Barry Mishkind, Editor of the Broadcaster's Desktop Resource (BDR) and I will be there to lead the discussion.

As in past years if you are interested in the ongoing process of public warning improvement, a member of an SECC or LECC, or some other public or private EAS stakeholder we hope you might want to attend these sessions.
