Prior to v5.30 all Sage ENDEC's had a factory default of No

This was changed in v5.30 and going forward but if someone backed up their settings and then restored those settings after performing an update the old setting can be carried forward.  I've seen it happen on a number of units and I have seen a year old alert forwarded because of it.

But I think as you say the dates shouldn't be current.

And I far as I know, strict time was always defaulted to yes.
