Well if it's an older Sage 1822 unit many had the 'Strict Time' setting turned off by default from the factory.  If Strict Time is turned off it will allow an expired alert to air.

If someone ran a 107 day old alert, there is a good chance it would have been ignored if the time stamp reflected the old date.  I tend to discount that "old message" theory unless the date/time was updated...
