My point was, and it is just my opinion, that any entity that is initiating RMTs should not have to be concerned with operators having to either press a few buttons (allowing for differences in EAS gear) or someone doing it remotely with one mouse click. However it gets done, those doing it, should know the drill.

Agree 100%. Sometimes reality gets in the way, though. Relief operators that are seen infrequently are one concern. Our posted instructions are as straightforward as I can make them. We all do the best we can.
