[EAS] Wednesday 2 PM NAB Session on NOAA NWS EAS Issues

Greetings:

I have been told a limited number of session passes can be issued for EAS Participants who want to attend the special NAB Session that Clay and I will be conducting in the LVCC in Room N234 who are not registered for sessions.

According to Larry Walke with NAB, these passes for just this session will be available in one of the NAB Staff Offices: Room S-221 or N-219 in the LVCC.

Description:
During some storm events, local National Service offices can literally "flood" the EAS with warnings. Example: Some EAS participants have experienced as many as 15 Flash Flood Warnings within a few hours. Boiler plate information can make each event run 90 seconds or more. This panel will outline what has been done so far to mitigate this problem, and what remains to be done.
