[EAS] National Weather Service NOAA Shutdown Information

Our WFO's are up and running...at least the weather here is appropriately
fall-like and no "message flooding" is expected!

>Hi all. I've gotten a couple questions about the NWS operating status
during the Federal Government shutdown. Yes - we are still operating 24/7.
That applies to all NWS >offices, including Vegas, Elko, Sacramento, and so
on. We will provide weather and hydrology info just like we normally would -
including emails like this as warranted - but >we can't travel to or host
meetings/exercises unless it's an emergency situation (like providing
weather briefings at an EOC for an incident - we can still do that).
