Yes, we potentially could make our Sage "hold off" on relaying an alert
till the commercial stopset has finished. (But we choose not to,
warnings go out as fast as the unit can process them)
The suggestion was to time-squeeze live programming, such as a pro ball
game. This is more complex than holding off an alert till the next
opportunity. The 25-Seven Systems web site explains how their Audio Time
Manager can do this function. My observation was that a next-gen EAS
unit might incorporate similar functionality.

The DASDEC can do this currently via both RCS NexGen and WideOrbit
Automation systems - the DASDEC has IP interfaces to both these systems
- you can traffic an RWT and your automation system can take the
traffic logs and execute it. We can also do it hold and alert based on
GPI logic.
