Don't think that the CMAS folks are interested in that game- In fact, if you
look back at how this all came about - The carriers pretty much told the
Feds how they were willing to play the game.   Some have agreed not to play
at all.

We need to think of EAS and CMAS as those door bells (Or thuds) and come up
with a unified way for BOTH systems to direct citizens to someplace or
places where the additional information can be - EASILY- found.  

TV (Broadcast and Cable) has the advantage here in that they can run a very
informative crawl with a ton of information (Think school closures, Stock
info etc) and do so without breaking format, interrupting NFL playoff games
etc.....and, best of all - They are a true PMP system that does not require
a 2way connection to gain the info.

Is this too much to ask for our nations public warning system?
