The CMAS technology doesn't allow us to embed a link. This is an interesting learning experience. Last night a friend on Facebook who lives in south central PA got a CMAS/WEA Amber alert. I recommended he check local radio and TV and perhaps a county EM website. But another friend of his found the complete alert on the Google Alert site within a couple of minutes. I hadn't even thought of that even through I've worked with the Google team in the past. The alert was for the Phila. PA area. Another friend of his pointed to an article in a suburban Phila newspaper website. For all of it's issues, the CMAS message triggered this person into action and he found his information with the help of friends.
