Hi Bob,

For weather related alerts, how about an embedded hot link in the CMAS 
message pointing towards the local WFO for that county? Every forecast 
office has short and long fuse watches and warnings on their home page. 
It is my opinion that checking local media will be hit and miss at best. 
Especially over night and weekends. The WFO page isn't hit and miss.  
It's generally kept up to date.

With that said, a loss of internet access would blunt that message. But 
at least the public will learn that web page is there for them to use 
regardless of location and means of access.
