We use #2 diesel for heating and back-up power at the studios. Our fuel
supplier automatically switches to a winter blend in the fall.

We have both an 150 gallon day tank which is part of the outdoor
generator enclosure and an outdoor main tank. We've never experienced a
problem except when the vent pipe on the main tank iced shut and we
couldn't pump fuel from it. An upside down pie plate mounted to the top
of the vent solved that problem.
