By the way that was not sarcasm.our news department was trying to get
the most updated information as everyone's phone in the newsroom went
off and it said go to your local media for information. 

The web site must have been flooded because the newsroom could not get
it to open.

Do any readers here have information about actual CMAS dissemination
duration? When a county-wide alert goes out, do all cell subscribers get
notified simultaneously, or does it take several minutes to send
thousands of text alerts?

In planning a broadcaster's response to widespread CMAS messages, we
need to know these things.
