By the way, I am a member of our local NOAA-NWS Sky Warn team here in
metro Phoenix. I do use it for my Sky Warn activities...
I have yet to see ANY CMAS activity on my cell phone ???

Although Verizon activated CMAS weeks ago in our area, I received no
CMAS messages until I allowed the most recent Blackberry software update
to occur. Normally, I put these off because they take so long and make
you go through one or more re-boots to get everything working.

An associate at the station uses an iPhone with the same cell carrier.
He states that his software is up to date, yet he has never received a
CMAS message.
