How does being an LP enter into this discussion?  ALL stations who 
"leave their keys in the ignition" are inviting trouble.  And being just 
plain negligent.  Sure, an LP station getting hacked has the potential 
for larger consequences, but on the other hand, if EVERY station within 
200 miles of where I live broadcast a bogus alert it would likely have 
less affect than a non-LP 4th rated station in LA.

And lest we forget... in recent times it was the news departments that 
really wrecked havoc!  It is far easier to secure the EAS box than to 
secure the activities of "news" departments... :)
