That's exactly what I did with ours from the very start and it works well.
I am waiting for the second IP port via USB to be enabled.
(Maybe it has with 89.2? I just haven't checked.)
Then I will use the one IP port for CAP and button that down so I am the only other access.
I will move my Operator control to the PC's we use for NexGen.
Our NexGen LAN is physically isolated from the outside world.
I guess NexGen has a SAGE app that works over the LAN connection.
Our NexGen manager is looking into that now.
