Meeting information follows:
You are invited to attend an EAS issues meeting on the Sunday of NAB week at 5 PM in Room N-232 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Broadcast Warning Working Group (BWWG), the host of the EAS forum website and remailer, has obtained the room from the NAB from 5 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, April 7.
The meeting will be moderated by a panel consisting of Adrienne Abbott, Nevada SECC Chair, Barry Mishkind of the Broadcaster's Desktop Resource, Gary Timm, Chair, Wisconsin SECC, and Richard Rudman, Vice Chair of the California SECC.
Draft Agenda:
1.Two Steps Forward paper preview with emphasis on SECC's and LECC's working more closely with state and local EM officials - 10 minutes 2. State and local plans15 minutes
3. IPAWS OPEN, CAP and Internet issues 15 minutes
5. EAS compliance10 minutes
6. Open Forum10 minutes
We may be able to stay in the room after 6 PM or move elsewhere if discussions warrant.
