Last June & July the trades touted that the new Apple iOS6 will include
Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA).  I have not found any public discussion of
it since the big announcement of iPhone 5 and iOS6.  Is it really included?
 
A customer service rep from Verizon named Michael just responded to my
emailed question.  He assured me that the new iPhone 5 will support WEA.
