[EAS] GoDaddy down

Was there confirmation of an outside attack (aside from conflicting claims
on Twitter).  Last info I heard that the GoDaddy DNS servers were
inaccessible, specifically because CNS1.SECURESERVER.NET,
CNS2.SECURESERVER.NET, and CNS3.SECURESERVER.NET are failing to resolve.

So... is this the part where i tell you "I told you so?".

Probably 3-4 kids in their parents basement with a few hundred thousand
zombie machines brought DNS and Registrar GoDaddy to it's knees for several
hours today.

Now, imagine that attack on someone like Google, NetworkSolutions, or any
other major DNS hosting company.

This is why FEMA and the FCC screwed the pooch when using a DNS based system
that they have no control over.

But, what do we know, we only deal with it every day, god forbid we be
right...
