Warning appliances which can do TTS should also contain programming to
translate English into other languages in visual and/or speech on a per
device basis. Putting that translation choice responsibility in the hands
of the individual greatly simplifies the core channel(s) of conveyance and
standardizes the language conversion to any one of the half-dozen or so
widely used languages. Each of which has it own set of advocates.
And appliance programming can be expandable should there be a group of end
users which desire a language not one of the primary selections.
