You can find text to CW converters. Since KSM is a maritime station there would be a limit as to what information would be worth forwarding.

multiple parallel paths.  That's why I think CAP is such a good idea 
-- it can support multiple paths.  If I could find a CAP to Morse 
converter I could even put it on 500 kcs on KSM.
