Jim,

CAP status: Offline will show up if any of the cap server definitions is down.

Do you have more servers than just the IPAWS server defined? Check
the CAP tab on ENDECSetD.

If will also show up if enough polls are missed in a five minute interval.

Check the CAP stats button shows on the Tools page of the ENDES's web page.
If you have only the IPAWS server, you should see something like this:

The IPAWS poller is Up

IPAWS is Up, 6145 good polls, 28 failed polls, 18 alerts, 9 skipped,
9 accepted.

If you have a bad server entry, you may see something like this:

The IPAWS poller is Up
The Type 1 poller is Down

IPAWS is Up, 6145 good polls, 28 failed polls, 18 alerts, 9 skipped,
9 accepted.
myipaws is down, 0 good polls, 6140 failed polls, 0 alerts, 0
skipped, 0 accepted.

You can also check the individual poller stats by clicking the other
buttons under the Stats heading:

Of interest are the times at the bottom.
Note that these stats are cleared to zero on a reboot.

Finally, the WGET logs will show you the error message resulting from
polling the various servers. It does not show the passwords, but you
can see what host you are connecting to, and what error it got trying
to connect.

You can send us your settings file, and you can cut and paste the
info from the items discussed above, and we can take a
look. support at sagealertingsystems.com
