On behalf of all the folks at Digital Alert Systems and our parent Monroe
Electronics, I just wanted to relay a brief note thanking all of the EAS
community for their support and useful commentary as we finally (!) crossed
the June 30th CAP goal line.

It has been a remarkable journey for all of us - but we finally made it past
this major milestone. Taking a moment to look back, our own "emergency
alert voyage" started with our first involvement with EBS in the 1970s
(Monroe put some of the first gear related to EBS in the cable industry),
EAS, and now CAP EAS (fielding the first EAS equipment that internally used
CAP "way back" in 2005).

But CAP also presents a road ahead of us, with a range of new challenges -
some known, and many yet to be uncovered. In that light, we also want to
reaffirm our ongoing commitment to work closely with our broadcast and cable
client partners as this CAP EAS adventure continues to evolve and expand.

Operating and maintaining this system is going to be an continuing
requirement for all of us - manufacturer, EAS Participant, and government -
and we look forward to serving the industry as CAP EAS moves forward.

Many thanks!

Ed
