You raise a very good point.
Where does one start in knowing how to set up your equipment.
My answer would be, The State EAS Plan.
EAS does not work, on any level, without a state plan.
It should contain most of what you need to know.
While it doesn't tell you HOW to program the equipment, that is the manufacturer's job.
A state plan should contain the WHO, WHAT, WHERE and WHEN information for setting filters.
Start there and find out who is your SECC chairman.
When you have questions, get in touch with that person.
If your SECC functions half as well as it does here in Nebraska, you should be in good shape.
