[EAS] Governor's Must Carry

Let's not forget that Governors are POLITICAL animals.  They will do what
they (and their handlers) think makes the most political points and
contributes to their re-election and/or consolidation of power.  This is
most often not in the best interest of or for the welfare and safety of the
constituents.

Do we need a reminder of a flooded city and trapped citizens because a
Governor and a Mayor did not want to shut down the casinos?  

I say we leave them the pols to their dog and pony show and leave EAS,
emergency management, et al to those who truly care about the well being of
the citizenry.
