At our television station, where we broadcast two different program streams,
our DASDEC is programmed to not pass weather event warnings to either
program, because our weather warning system takes care of the weather alerts
for both. We do use EAS for other local warnings, i.e. shelter-in-place, 911
outage, radiological hazard, amber alerts, etc.
