[EAS] Richard's Comment on Politics

I agree completely with Richard's sentiment. And yes, I know EAS and CAP
have political overtones; especially since I'm the state EAS Chair and I'm
trying to get several different state & local agencies, a trade association,
and better than a dozen different owners to work together.
But the negative generalization and ongoing bashing of folks who are simply
trying to make the process work, whether they're part of the private or
public sector, just slows down the process and demeans everyone involved.
You do a lot better by being considerate with folks than you do by being
condescending and judgmental. Think about it. Do you give your best effort
to someone who says you're a bumbling idiot or to the person who's courteous
and thanks you for your time?
I've met some very competent, dedicated folks and I've met some who
shouldn't be let out of the house unattended. Where they're working at
didn't have much bearing on what category they were in.
