[EAS] Anyone in the know?

Yes, It is a dial-up phone line! About 42 of them to be exact, according to our contact here in Los Angeles, they originate from a master and massive AT&T conference bridge at the FEMA Control Center, (the "Undisclosed Location").
I wonder just how this "bridge" is designed? Are it's multiple outputs EACH isolated by amplifiers? It sounded to me today like there was possibly back-feeding from the far ends of the loops, or across the loops, which may have been responsible for the "layering" of multiple overlapped signals, (tones, announcement, EOM's, etc.).
Pure speculation on my part! But I DO HOPE that someone at FEMA had the sense to make a realtime recording off of the bridge at it was sent to us!!!
