[EAS] Repeating the original question..

I called and talked to them yesterday about this stating that they already know the coordinates of the stations transmitters via the license on file. But if trying to flush out an EAS Rx coverage problem, they need to know where the receiver (up the chain) is, not the transmitter. Case & point is our LP-2 is buried behind local hills requiring an extraordinary effort with tunable and directional antennas to ensure a solid path. I think they are confusing the end transmitters with those that are designated relays.

I have posed this question to the FCC on the link on their EAS page. If I get an answer, I'll let you know. I believe others may have asked about this as well -- stating that if we are trying to smoke out PEP coverage issues, we need to know the geo coordinates of where the off air receivers are.
