[EAS] National Test

Our TFT EAS911 units have 2 minute (maximum) alert message windows. If they
don't receive the EOM, they'll automatically terminate recording the message
at 2 minutes. Unless other makes of EAS decoders don't have a similar
feature, I'm not sure a RWT 5 minutes later would help.

Would it be proper to ask all state EAS chairs to request
all of the LP-x's in their states (down to LP-5;'s), to run
a RWT about 5 minutes after what that LP determines is the
end of the national test? That way, if someone up stream at
LPx clips short any feeds, and stations downstream don't get
the EOM, the RWT EOM would release the station being held
hostage.
I already have remote reset capabilities on all five
of my EAS boxes. I hope I don't have to use that "feature". :)
