        I have said for some time that it will require
        the owners, managers, and PDs to "suddenly"
        have an interest in the EAS. Personally, I
        do not believe the programming community
        as a whole (much less ownership) is aware
        of the open-ended GMC requirements and
        what that may entail.

        This is NAB/NASBA territory. Their active
        attention to this aspect will be essential
        to the outcome of the process.
