[EAS] Activity at the FCC

Clay,
The TFT Model 3320 is also upgradeable via CAP messages on the Internet. I think TFT, too, is a major player. Upgrades will be transparent to the user. In fact, TFT 3320s will report back their level of software periodically and be upgraded without any user interface. In most instances, EAS Participants will be able to utilize their present EAS equipment with only a simple, inexpensive addition rather than complete replacement.
Regards,
Darryl E. Parker

Both of the major makers (Sage and Monroe) are saying their stuff is
software up-gradable via the Web...Should not be a problem with up-grades.
Frankly I don't see any path for existing equipment to be upgraded....But,
then again, I have been wrong in the distant past.
I agree, it's likely to be a rush-job at this rate.
