[EAS] clarification please

Barry -

They have obviously approached this differently - The DAS is a sophisticated
box, to be sure.  We have a number of them in this area.  For instance, it 
is
my understanding that Belo has standardized on them for all their stations.

Big area of concern is where stations have different or unique coverage and 
where
coding for an area not served etc would be an issue.  In these cases I 
always
recommend separate boxes per station.

I have a client like this here in this area.  Their AM and FM coverage is 
quite
different (The FM is a Rim-Shot) ...Therefore, they have purchased two 
separate
endecs.   As more people become savvy to the programming of more 
sophisticated
EAS boxes this will become a more important factor.
