You will find that the TFT Model 3320 CAP-to-EAS Converter has both filtering and message storing. It will not "choke" on the number of incoming messages. Because message storage is electronic rather than paper tape, it will not "burn through paper tape by the yard."

When emergencies hit a widespread area, it is possible that boxes using CAP converters will choke on the sheer volume of messages, unless the converter does its own message filtering.
