We have Uverse at home and I must admit that it's pretty good.  We don't have the TV service, just Internet and it runs about 20M down and almost 2M up. I know  some folks that have ordered Uverse and can only get speeds of around 300-400 k - pretty slow for this day and age.  Their problem is that the Uverse that feeds them is brought in partly on copper and not fiber to their nearest remote access terminal.  ATT has been promising for over a year to correct the problem but so far they haven't.  Try to pry out of them what speeds you will actually get when all is said and done.

As you've been reading here, it's just a shame that ATT's e-mail service is provided by Yahoo and Yahoo servers.  FEH!
