[BC] What brought me into radio

They were the old Soviet jammers, blocking out all Western/free programming and information.  They were somewhat effective, but skip being what it is, not every hop landed in the same place as the intended reception point.

I too tuned thru and listened to those signals for voices but never heard anything.  I haven't thought about them in years but still have that old multi-band radio that I rescued from my folks estate sale.  What exactly were they? Jammers, data?
