The ideas here are good ones.
 Call me crazy, but I wonder how a low-powered version of the Ampliphase would do using today's technology would do. I remember how good the BTA-50G at WLKW 990 Providence RI sounded when set up properly. When it would go off the air at sunset, I'd hear the same rig at the 990 here in Philly....
