I used to work at a classic rock station where my favorite announcer there would sometimes have to voice track his shift if the station needed him somewhere else. He could voice track a four hour shift in under 30 minutes, because when he hit "record" on Audition he treated the track as if he were on the air live, where you get only one shot at each break. I never saw him re-record a track. Listeners never knew he was Memorex because he sounded exactly the same as he did when he was live.
