We have HD voice at Rowan and I discovered that the headset output of the
Cisco 7942 IP phones here provide a true 4 wire output. I have hooked its
audio output from the studio phone into the board and its mike input to our
mix minus bus (properly matched and at the correct level). We use it to do on
campus remotes from time to time (with a second phone modified to run with our
remote mixer. It sounds pretty good - not great but much better then the
typical phone call. I would never consider playing music over it though.

But if the full conversation had been read or the remainder of the
conversation included it would be obvious if a person is educated that it was
not being a concern about the Bluebox but VOIP quality.
