Richard:  I understand Guido advised Larson E. Rap in writing stories for QST and Popular Electronics.  One of Larson's legendary inventions was the underground antenna -- the mirror image of the vertical.  Worked great!  Nothing for the neighbors to complain about, either. 

Guido disappeared along with Jimmy Hoffa, but the media never took note of it because Guido was a relative unknown at the time.
