[BC] Maximum Tower Height

To the gurus on the list, who have recently been there and done that in 
the past few years:

We have a FM client that is interested in constructing a new tower for 
his new FM CP, rather than to construct on the existing tower that the 
CP was granted on.   He now wants to build a new tower on land that his 
family owns nearby.   The CP is in a rural area away from any large cities.

What is the maximum tower height that one can construct and get approval 
for, without having to go through the "bulls..t"  of the environmental 
process that is required above a constructing a new tower of above a 
certain height?  I am asking with respect to the Media Bureau.

Without doing a bunch of research, I recall that there was a maximum 
height of somewhere less than 500 feet AGL that one could construct a 
new tower without going though the above rigmarole.....

There are no endangered Snail Darters, Indian Burial Grounds, Bird 
Migratory Pathways or other Environmental Hazards in the desolate area 
where he is located.
