I think you have a bigger issue to deal with.  Name plate ratings are such
for a reason.  I don't like it when a mfr. rep tells be something can do
120% of nameplate as I know folks will push that evelope and end up in
situations like this one.

I fear you're repairs are going to be $10k...and about 20% of a new 15KW
NV-LT.
