My reply is that you are correct. I had not recalled that detail when I posted.
I remember Bob Mayberry the assistant CE telling us new techs (first day on the job etc.)
to stand out of the way, try to learn as much as we could but not expect much hand-holding etc.
I remember Osgood doing daytime air work. The all-news format was introduced in stages (hours per week)
and shows such as the Music Til Dawn stayed on for some time afterwards. - Bob Foxworth
