Two points.... First my bad math it was 49 years ago and not 24 that WCBS AM and FM moved to Blackrock. They stayed there until 2000 and when the moved they were still using 60s vintage GE consoles, AMPEX 350 reel to reels and other vintage equipment of that era. It all went into trash compactor trucks parked on 52nd st. They ran for about 30 years with almost no equipment upgrades. The AM moved to the Broadcast center and stayed there until 2011 when they moved in with the other CBS stations on Hudson St.
485 Madison has an interesting history. After CBS moved out, WRFM and shortwave station WNYW ( former WRUL ) moved in and stayed there for about 20 years. Univision is now there. I was offered space there in 1996 to move in Z100. There were existing studios that could have been converted and I don't know if they were original CBS or something WRFM might have built but the building was a dark dingy old dump compared to other spaces and we ran and not walked away from it.
